Australasian Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine (AJUM) is the journal of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM). Members of ASUM are clinicians, sonographers and scientists working in the public and private health sectors in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania. Four issues are published annually in February, May, September and December.
The Journal has been published since February 1998; Vol 1 (1). Originally published as the Ultrasound Bulletin, the journal was renamed in February 2009; Vol 12 (1). The online edition was launched in February 2011; Vol 14 (1). Issues from February 2009; Vol 12 (1) are online. The Journal publishes original research studies, articles on diagnostic ultrasound, case studies, book reviews and commentary on current issues in medical ultrasound. The programs and abstracts for the Society's Annual Scientific Meeting and ASUM Multidisciplinary Workshop are also published in the Journal.
AJUM is a peer review journal. Articles submitted are assessed by reviewers who are members of a panel of acknowledged experts in diagnostic sonography and therapy.

Open access is available to all issues except the most recent issue. All issues are available to ASUM members through the members area of the ASUM website.
