The KYUP! Project is offering 10 fully funded half-day violence education workshops valued at $30,000 to NSW State Secondary Schools in Term 4. More than 10,000 students and young women have participated in the program since 2013.

Not-in-School 15YOs distort Australian position on the PISA league table

A new Save our Schools (SOS) Brief demonstrates that there are significant differences in the proportion in school even among developed countries which influence test scores and rankings.


For example, the high ranking countries of Vietnam, four Chinese cities and provinces and the UK drop out of the top 20 countries when test scores are adjusted for the proportion of 15-year-olds not in school. Read More

AMSI has welcomed this week’s launch of STARportal, a new online tool designed to facilitate student engagement with science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Scholarships to help Indigenous students flourish in STEM economy

From 2021, there will be a total of eight undergraduates studying with the support of the program each year. Five million dollars has been set aside by the Origin Foundation – the philanthropic arm of Origin Energy - to fund the scholarships, which will be open to people from across the country, the value of each scholarship is $24,000. Read More
