   The ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) Education for Teachers’ professional learning course has been designed for primary and secondary educators, to bridge the gap between commonly held beliefs about what artificial intelligence is and how it can be embedded into all areas of the curriculum. iTeachSTEM makes resources available

The NSW Department of Education’s STEM Industry School Partnerships Program (SISP) has launched iTeachSTEM – a free, online STEM Curriculum Resource Portal for teachers. Developed in partnership with the Institute of Technology Education and Engineers Australia – Newcastle Division, iTeachSTEM offers Australian teachers free access to world-class, contextualized STEM learning and teaching resources for delivering STEM curriculum.

Solar-powered STEM learning for remote Indigenous Community

Solar powered computer labs have been popping up in some of the world’s most remote places, bringing STEM learning to disadvantaged communities in South Africa, Ethiopia, Colombia and soon regional Australia. It will be the first of five Dell Solar Labs earmarked for Australia by 2030.
   The labs are built from two refurbished and insulated shipping containers and can be placed in almost any location. Read more

Future Minds Network provides skills to land a job

Youth unemployment is stubbornly high and even with a good set of qualifications getting that job us a skill of its own and is rarely taught.
   With that in mind Monash Commerce student and Gen-Z educator, Nathaniel Diong, a 2021 Young Australian of the Year nominee, created the Future Minds Network, helping 11,000 youths avoid poverty through employment education.
