He grew so many leaders who, in turn, have grown even more leaders because of what he taught, modelled and stood for. Phone Ban Benefits Mental health

New research by Flinders University and international experts focused on school students’ feedback before and after mobile phone bans were introduced in South Australia in June 2023, as well as in-depth follow-up insights from hundreds of students on the mobile phone ban.
   Mobile phones are generally a negative for mental health in teens. As one student commented: “Ever since we have had the phone ban, we have no fights." Read more

Discussion to Consolidate Education Bodies Begins

The proposal by Education Minister Jason Clare for the establishment of a new Teaching and Learning Commission is an opportunity for a national discussion about how to strengthen the national education architecture for the teaching profession.
    The idea is to bring together the functions of ACARA, AITSL, AERO and Education Services Australia under one national body and the final form must be arrived at in consultation with the teaching profession. Read more
